Express entry is an electronic application management system for processing permanent residence applications. It allows people to submit a profile to be considered as skilled immigrants. Candidates with the highest rankings are invited to apply for permanent residency.
How Express Entry Works
Express Entry is an online system that we use to manage applications for permanent
residence from skilled workers.
- If you fill out a profile for Express Entry, your application will be ranked according to a points system.
- Highly ranked candidates, you will be invited to apply for permanent residence as a skilled immigrant.
- Your Permanent Resident application will then be processed within 6 months, once you have applied.
